2010 Educational Conference Photo Event
This year we are adding a Photograph display to the Educational Conference in Collinsville Illinois. We are asking Members to enter our photo competition. Its all for the fun and enjoyment of herbal photo art.
There is no entry fee and no expensive photo framing required. Just mail your favorite herbal photo (black and white or color) in a mounted or matted form. They will be on display throughout the conference with attendees voting on their favorite.
Awards will be given at our annual meeting and winners will be displayed on www.iherg.org

You can register for single day programs, or sign up for a money-saving package for all three days of programs.

IHA has also instituted an intern program for a limited number of people wishing to work at the conference in exchange for registration and other considerations.

Conference Schedule

There will be both pre- and post-conference tours, on July 9 and 13, of a horseradish growing field and processing facility, the Cahokia Mounds, Eckert's Market, and Joe's Asian Vegetables and the St. Louis Botanic Garden and the Lewis and Clark Visitors Center. Check back for prices.
Herbal Education Day. Open to the Public. Saturday, July 10, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Join us for herb talks and presentations headed by a who's who of IHA members and industry professionals. Speakers confirmed so far include: Jim Long, Pat Crocker Sal Gilbertie, Jim Long, Jonathan Hoffman, Pat Crocker, and J.W. "Bill" Courter.
The Professional Conference sessions will take place on Sunday, July 11 and Monday, July 12. These sessions will be more intensive, and will include some business-related topics, as well as an in-depth look at the 2011 Herb of the Year, horseradish. The public is invited to register and attend these programs.
Herbal Marketplace. On Saturday and possibly through Sunday and Monday there will be a retail sales area. Interested vendors can contact Donna Frawley for fees and further details.
Meals. Saturday, Sunday and Monday lunches and the Sunday Awards Banquet are included with full registration. Meals throughout the conference will be as herbal as can be arranged.
Sunday night, there will be an Awards Banquet, where there will be entertainment, awards, and a live auction of the choicest of donated herbal items.
Now Available: Dill, Herb of the Year 2010 book. $12 for single copies, discounts available for orders meeting minimum.
